
Brooke Vincent was born on June 12, 1992, in Manchester. at the age of seven, she decided she'd like to become an actress after becoming bored of dancing and swimming, which is why she joined Laine Management. Her debut came on the television industry in 2002, playing Casey Glass, in League of Gentleman. It was suggested that she audition in March 2004 for the character of Sophie Webster at Coronation Street, after Emma Woodward left the soap. Brooke was offered the role on May 12, 2004, and she made her first public appearance. Brooke has studied drama at Manchester after graduating from Fairfield High School for Girls. Brooke found a job in a salon on Saturdays and in addition to her Coronation Street role. Brooke stated on This Morning in 2009 that although she enjoyed her Saturday work, she had trouble answering the phone because she had the "common sounding voice".
