Anna Silk was born in Fredericton as the daughter of Peter Silk, an academic and Ilkay Silk, an multi-talented actor, director, producer, playwright, educator, and director of drama at St. Thomas University. Her father is from Britain and her mother is a "Turkish English-Cypriot expat." Anna's earliest memories of attending rehearsals for play and watching her mother's working. Anna appeared in several advertisements in her youth. In the month of November, 1999 Anna moved to Toronto in order to further develop her acting career. She ended up shifting in Los Angeles, California, within the next decade. Seth Cooperman was introduced to Anna in Los Angeles at an acting training workshop held in 2007. They got engaged in the year 2009. Anna was a convert to the Jewish faith in 2011 after converting to Judaism. They got wed in a civil ceremony in December this year.
