Sheryl-Underwood

Sheryl Underwood, an American television host, comedian and actor most well-known for her role as host of the popular daytime talk show The Talk. She was brought up by Little Rock and Atwater. Sheryl is from an extended family with a lot of problems. Sheryl was raised by her sister Frankie. Frankie had suffered from her own illness called Polio. As a child, her relations with her mother were not always smooth. Sheryl says that her mother was once brutally stabbed by her father over getting too close. Sheryl joined up the military right after her graduation from her college. Her passion was comedy. She became the very first female winner of the Miller Lite Comedy Search in 1989. She began her TV job in the year 1992, appearing as a frequently performing comedian on HBO's comedy show Def Comedy Jam. In 2000, she was host of the T.V. program Oh Drama! In 2011, she began being as a co-host on The Talk as co-host. In addition she has also appeared in a variety of fictional characters on series like Bulworth Nikki, and Beauty Shop.
