Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor Joy, a half-English and half-Spanish woman, was born on April 16th, 1996, in Miami Florida. Dennis Alan Taylor is a retired banker and Jennifer Marina Joy is a psychology student. His father was Argentine, of Scottish-English descendance. Her mother's ancestry is Spanish as well as English. She was the first born of a clan that included six children. Four of them are siblings from the previous marriage to Taylor's dad. Family lived within Buenos Aires up until Taylor-Joy was 6 years old, then moved to Victoria district of London. Taylor-Joy claims that the move to London was traumatic and that she was unable to take the time to learn English so that she could avoid returning to Argentina. Hill House, a school in the same district as Northlands was obligated to accept her. Later, she enrolled in Queen's Gate School to study dance and perform in the school's productions. At the age of sixteen, Taylor-Joy resigned from the school to focus her full-time acting career. Taylor-Joy's dream to become an actor started when she was just a child. Sarah Doukas of Storm Management was the very first model to hire her as model for professional models.
